European Accessibility Act · in force since 28 June 2025
Is your online shop accessible enough for the EAA?
Enter your shop's address. In about a minute we test your homepage, a product page, a category page and your cart against WCAG 2.2 AA, the standard the EAA relies on, and show you what to fix.
Why shops are acting now
It's now a legal requirement
Since June 2025 the EAA requires e-commerce sites selling to EU consumers to meet accessibility requirements (EN 301 549 / WCAG). Only micro-enterprises are exempt.
Enforcement has started
Courts and regulators are issuing compliance orders and daily penalties, and in Germany shops are receiving warning letters over accessibility failures.
Audits cost thousands
A manual WCAG audit typically costs €2,000–€7,000. Start with an automated audit that catches the most common failures for a fraction of that.
How it works
- Scan. Enter your shop address. We load your key pages in a real browser and run 90+ WCAG 2.2 checks (the axe-core engine used by Google Lighthouse).
- See your score for free. Your accessibility score, how many problems we found, how severe they are, and whether you publish an accessibility statement.
- Fix it. The full report lists every issue with the exact elements affected, why it matters, and step-by-step fixes for Shopify, WooCommerce and custom sites. It includes a ready-to-publish accessibility statement.

Questions
Does my shop have to comply with the EAA?
If you sell products or services to consumers in the EU online, very likely yes, wherever your company is based. The main exemption is for micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet under €2 million) providing services. Read our plain-English EAA guide.
Will an automated scan make me fully compliant?
No tool can guarantee that. Automated testing reliably catches a large share of common WCAG failures (contrast, missing labels, alt text, structure), which are also the ones most often cited in complaints. We recommend fixing these first, then doing a manual keyboard and screen reader check. Our report tells you what to check manually.
Do you install an overlay or widget on my site?
No. Accessibility overlays don't make a site compliant and are frequently criticised by disabled users. We tell you what to fix in your actual site.
Which platforms do you support?
Any public website. We add platform-specific steps for Shopify and WooCommerce, which we detect automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the report isn't useful to you, email us within 14 days and we'll refund you in full.
